LET’S GET STARTED
Life is challenging enough. Joining a church should be simple!
Becoming a member at Hales Corners Lutheran is pretty straightforward. Anyone considering joining should attend Membership Info Night, a one-night class where you can learn all about our church community. (More details are below.) After attending that class, just let us know when you’re ready to join. We’ll invite you to a special Sunday where we’ll officially welcome you to the HCL community.
It’s that easy! (Ok, there are a few forms to fill out, too, but we’ll get to that later … )

Pastor Todd and the New Member Team will share about what our church believes and what membership here looks like.
This is also a great opportunity to meet more people interested in joining the church community. There are no tests … just great conversation!

All sessions meet on Tuesday evenings in the HCL Chapel (on the north-side of the campus) from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

NEW MEMBER SUNDAY
We love celebrating our new members! Once you’ve prayerfully decided to join, you’ll be invited to a special Sunday where we will give thanks to God for leading you to this community.
Just so you can plan ahead, this is what a typical New Member Sunday looks like:
WORSHIP
During the 10:45 am worship service, we highlight our new members, pray over you, and officially welcome you to HCL.
RECEPTION
Immediately following the worship service, join us for a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall from 11:45 am - 12:45 pm. Your whole family is invited! You’ll have a chance to connect with our pastors, staff, and other HCL members. We'll have special gifts for your family as well!
At the reception, we’ll introduce you to your HCL Mentor! This is a special individual or family that has been chosen just for you. They are praying for you and want to help you feel connected to HCL’s ministry.
