Faith Nurturing

We strive to build faith, values, and character through daily interactive chapel and our everyday experiences and explorations. Our goal is to pursue Ephesians 2:22: “And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.”

Education

The summer education slide is real and we strive to help students maintain what they have learned through the school year with daily reading, math, journaling, and educational fun built into each day.

Sports, Crafts, Activities

Our daily schedule is designed to keep students engaged, moving, and creating. Summer is a time to let students dabble and be submersed in new and old interests.

Parks & Off-Campus Recreation

Each week students have the opportunity to explore new ground on a bus field trip. Whenever possible, we explore new parks and playgrounds to entertain, educate and keep students engaged in fun and activity.

Hot Lunch and Snacks

Student friendly hot lunches and morning and afternoon snacks are included to keep students’ energy up to the daily tasks, as well as help free up parents from the task of packing cold lunches.

Class Breakdown

Students begin and end their days in a group setting but are broken down into class groups by grades for the majority of the day.

Staffing

Our staff is predominantly education majors or child related field, current HCL School Before and After School staff and graduates. This has built a strong faith orientated staff, dedicated to the needs of our students and with diversified interests to share with students.

Mentor Program

As students move through the program, some students naturally stand out as leaders. We are proud to offer the mentor program to continue to grow these leadership skills. Students may interview to join as mentors once they are entering 7th grade. A portion of Summer Program tuition will be waived as part of this program.
