2-year-old preschool
The 2-Year-Old Preschool (PS2) program at Hales Corners Lutheran School is available year round, Monday-Friday from 6:00 am - 5:30 pm. A 2-day minimum is required with flexible full-day and half-day options available.
The primary goal for our 2-year olds is to provide a warm, caring environment that helps establish a foundation for social development, self-help and faith building. The PS2 classrooms are carefully designed learning environments that encourage learning through play and everyday interactions. A day in the life
Our teachers provide a variety of activities that begin to introduce the curriculum areas of art, science, cooking, social studies, dramatic play, manipulative activities, language, large motor skills, music, and movement. HCLS PS1 and PS2 programming also includes a variety of faith building activities and routines, including a monthly song, prayer, and verse, weekly chapel, and daily Jesus time.

We also have some fun events together throughout the year, including a Christmas Program, field trips, and special week-long celebration for National Lutheran Schools Week. Other special events may include:

Students bring their own morning snacks which are served at 9:15 am. Families are also more than welcome to bring breakfast for their child(ren) - we provide cups, spoons, napkins and milk. We have our own cook on staff who provides the children with a nutritionally balanced lunch and afternoon snack. Lunch is served at 11:30 am and snack at 3:00 pm. Hot lunch and afternoon snack is included in PS2 tuition.
