Women help each other become more faithful followers of Jesus. Together, we encourage, we learn from one another, we talk through life's struggles, and, ultimately, we strive to become better wives, moms, coworkers, neighbors, and leaders in our community.

Ladies, Every couple of months, we get together at a local restaurant just to connect and get to know each other better. Bring a friend and join us!

2026 WOMEN’S SPEAKER EVENT

Save the date! All women are invited to join us for our 2026 Women's Speaker Event. This is an annual opportunity for a morning of worship, prayer, and encouragement in our walk with Jesus.
This year, we'll be welcoming Christina Hergenrader as our guest speaker! She will be sharing "Living a Better Story" based on Psalm 23. Christina is a gifted speaker, certified Growth Coach, and author of 12 books. She understands modern women’s pressures and concerns and brings warmth and inspiration to everything she does. We can't wait to welcome her to HCL ... all the way from Friendswood, TX!

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For 80 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
