Together, we encourage, we learn from one another, we talk through life's struggles, and, ultimately, we strive to become better husbands, dads, coworkers, neighbors, and leaders in our community.
HCL creates all kinds of opportunities for guys to get connected. We offer activity-based meet up groups, hang out nights at local establishments, small group Bible Studies, and more. Check out these current ways to jump in!

GUYS NIGHTS
Guys! Every couple of months, we get together at a local restaurant or brewery just to connect and get to know each other better. Come and go as you please, and bring a friend!
GOLF
SATURDAYS: MAY 10 & JUNE 28 (1:30 pm, approximately)
Swing by Edgewood Golf Course (Big Bend) for some fun on the links. All handicaps welcome! We’ll be tee’ing off for 18 holes in consecutive foursomes, and maybe have some refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards.

ROCK CLIMBING
MONDAY, MAY 5 (7:00 pm)
Let’s hang at a local rock climbing gym! Full disclosure, Pastor Todd is no pro at climbing … but he has fun and loves teaching first timers. Whether you are new to the sport or have some experience, come to Adventure Rock MKE (Downtown Milwaukee, Commerce Street), and give it a whirl. Cost is about $25, including gear. We’ll stick to auto belays and bouldering. (Don’t know what that is? No worries. We’ll teach you!)

MOUNTAIN BIKING
WEDNESDAYS: APRIL 23, MAY 28 & JUNE 25 (6:00-7:30 pm)
Head over to Whitnall Park to hit some trails with other guys. All skill levels welcome for these no-drop rides! Most mountain bikes or hybrids with stout tires are sufficient for the local trails we will ride. Meet at the Whitnall Kegel-Alpha 92nd Street trailhead parking lot.

Cribbage players! Come to HCL’s Cubeville (Main Floor, Next to Church Offices) to play with some other guys. Join us for one or all of the nights. Some playing experience is preferred, but if not, we’ll show you the ropes. If you have a board or cards, bring them!
