mission sunday
The 5th Sunday of the month in Chapel North, we take the opportunity to mobilize God’s people to serve in their community, to meet human need. It’s an important part of the ever deepening worship lifestyle of a Christian to practice servanthood. Each 5th Sunday, we partner with an organization in the area to donate supplies, and volunteer to assemble meals, serve food, clean, and do other tasks to help out wherever we can. If you’d like to continue to help with any of the groups we partner with beyond the 5th Sunday of each month, you can find more details for each organization below.
Soles for Jesus is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ by distributing shoes to the under-served people in sub-Saharan Africa. These shoes make a radical difference in the lives of the children and adults who receive them! Soles for Jesus is always looking for shoe donations, as well as volunteers to come sort and pack shoes for shipment.
