how does this work?

If you are considering a Short-Term Mission Experience (STME), these may be just a few of the questions that you have.

Here is an overview of your 3-step process to get you acclimated.

1. register for your team

Pray about participating in a STME, and research where we serve. You can find information on the website, by talking to Pastor Wood or Sarah Pundsack, and by talking to past STME participants.

  1. Find a date/site that works for you, complete the application and turn in your $100 deposit to Sarah Pundsack or Pastor Wood in the church office. Upcoming trip dates/sites can be found both on the STME application and on a Save the Date at the information counter.

  2. Begin the passport and vaccination process. Information can be found in the FAQs and under Where We Serve.

2. prepare with your team

You will prepare in 10 weekly meetings with your team. These times will give you a change to bond as a team, learn about the place you will serve, prepare spiritually for your trip, and work on any preparations for your specific projects. Your meeting times will be based on your team’s schedule.

3. serve with your team

While you are on site, you will work together, do devotions together, and serve together.

after you come home

Your STME will bring change to your life and walk with Jesus. In order to get the most out of your experience, your team will meet together and apply what God is teaching you in this experience to your daily life at home.
