School ministry has been a part of HCL’s DNA for many decades. We have seen thousands of lives changed through our own school as children learn about Jesus. When children learn to follow Jesus, they bring Him home, and when they bring Him home, families are changed. When families learn to follow Jesus, whole communities are changed.

HCL now is working with Mission Experience Haiti to build a school called Grace Academy in Haiti. Grace Academy is being built on the grounds of God’s Garden Orphanage, where HCL has served alongside Mission Experience Haiti for over seven years.

Grace academy is being born out of great need. There are currently 80 students receiving an education through Mission Experience in 2 small classrooms at God’s Garden Orphanage. Each of the last 2 years, MEH has had to turn students away because there is simply no room for more. Grace Academy will meet this need by eventually being able to house 500 students!

We are seeking to raise $250,000 as a congregation over the next 2 years, beginning in September 2022. This contribution will supply ½ of the total $500,000 budget for this project.
