Montana Youth Servant Event

Who: Any High Schooler (9th-12th Grade) is welcome to attend. Invite friends, and prepare your hearts for service, to make a change and be changed.

This is a servant event with many hands-on projects. The desire is to have four adults attend. We have a maximum occupancy of 20 set for us by the camp. This leaves 16 spots for students. If you are interested in coming as an adult, please contact Noah Bauer, Director of Youth Ministry.

What: A Servant event to be the hands and feet of Christ at Camp Trinity, on Flathead Lake near Kalispell, MT. There will also be a day of fun, adventure, and sightseeing in Glacier National Park and some time in Kalispell’s local city.

When: July 5th-13th, 2024

Travel: The Empire Builder Amtrack Rail

Where: Camp Trinity is a Lutheran Camp that shares Jesus with students from across Montana. It is located on Flathead Lake, near Bigfork, MT. It is about an hour’s drive from Glacier National Park.

Why: This is a chance to serve in a different community than our own.

How Much: Cost per person: $700.

There is a dining car on the train and also a walk-up style dining option. HCL will pack snacks and other food items for the trip out, but it is still suggested to pack your own food or bring some spending cash for meals on the train.

A $50 nonrefundable deposit will be due at the time of registration.
An additional $427 is due by January 20 to cover train fare.
The remainder of the amount is due by May 1st.

If finances are a concern, please reach out to the Youth Ministry team. There will be organized fundraisers throughout the winter and spring. Money should not keep anyone from attending.

Funds, minus the deposit, can be refunded up to April 5th, after which a full refund will not be available due to expenditures on travel.
